Josephine Curneen, Founder and Principal Consultant is an Advanced Clinical Hypnotherapist who, since 1998 has been
using hypnosis at her successful private clinic providing help to those suffering
from psychological, functional, behavioural and emotional difficulties.
In 2004 Josephine was appointed to represent 'Brookhouse Hypnotherapy' a national group of practices founded by Shaun
Brookhouse. All group members have been personally selected on the basis of their training, experience and commitment to their clients.
In 2007, BCHP relocated and expanded to form Berkhamsted Clinic of Hypnotherapy & Holistic Practices, providing, in addition to Clinical Hypnotherapy, a wide range of complementary therapies and health disciplines, thereby offering clients a truly holistic approach to assist
them to alleviate their problems and 'malaise'.
As a graduate of The Institute of Clinical Hypnosis and individual member of
The National Council for Hypnotherapy (NCH), The Hypnotherapy Society (HS), The Counselling Society (CS) and The British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP), Josephine is governed by and conforms to their Ethical Frameworks of Good Practice.
She is also an UKCHO registered practitioner with associated accreditation to The Prince's Foundation for Integrated Health and has associated membership to the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health.
As a graduate of The Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development with many years experience in Human Resourcing, Josephine has written and delivered as a 'hands on trainer', a variety of management development and employee training programmes.
She now utilises these skills by giving talks, seminars and workshops to promote her passionate commitment to the beneficial properties of Clinical Hypnotherapy.
