Berkhamsted Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice
(B.C.H.P)

Established 1998

Berkhamsted Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice (BCHP), has been established since 1998 in the historic town of Berkhamsted which is situated on the Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire borders and continues to successfully provide Clinical Hypnosis, Hypno-Analysis, Hypnotic Psychotherapy, NLP, EFT and other Meridian Therapies to those suffering from behavioural, emotional, functional or psychological difficulties, including Stress Related Anxiety Disorders, Fears & Phobias, Smoking and Weight Management.

The therapeutic effects of hypnosis are well known and the hypnotic interventions used at Berkhamsted Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice can, of course, stand alone to assist the alleviation of psychological problems and their associated emotional, behavioural and sometimes physical symptoms.  However, positive change can often be achieved even faster when Clinical Hypnotherapy is amalgamated with other Complementary Therapies.

Berkhamsted Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice, Berkhamsted, HertfordshireIn order to facilitate just such an holistic amalgamation, Berkhamsted Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice expanded and relocated in 2007, to a more central part of the town's conservation area and now forms part of Berkhamsted Clinic of Holistic Practices, (BCHP), offering in addition to Clinical Hypnotherapy, a wide range of Complementary Therapies from private Victorian consulting rooms in Berkhamsted High Street, conveniently located close to pay and display car park facilities and within walking distance of Berkhamsted railway station.  BCHP is therefore ideally situated and accessible from the surrounding Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedforshire towns and villages and is approximately 30 minutes from Euston.

The range of Complementary Therapies offered at BCHP include Auriculotherapy / Bioenergetic Body Balancing / Clinical Hypnotherapy / Counselling / Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) / Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) / Fitness Testing & Individual Exercise Programmes / Homeopathy / Kinesiology / Life Coaching / Massage - Baby, Indian, Remedial & Sport / Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) / Nutritional Advice & Food Sensitivity Testing / Reflexology / Reiki / Vertical Reflex Therapy / Yoga for slimming

Berkhamsted Clinic of Holistic Practice thereby offers a truly holistic approach designed to assist positive change and promote physical, emotional and behavioural well being.  All the listed Complementary Therapies can stand alone as therapeutic interventions, or may be amalgamated to provide a bespoke 'Life Enhancing Programme', designed to meet the specific and very individual needs of each client.

Berkhamsted Clinical Hypnotherapy Practice is a member of The Brookhouse Hypnotherapy Group www.hypnotherapy.org.uk which is a national group of practices founded by award winning clinician and hypno-psychotherapist Shaun Brookhouse. All group members have been personally selected on the basis of their training, experience and commitment to their clients. Josephine Curneen, Principal Consultant at BCHP was appointed to represent Brookhouse Hypnotherapy in the Herts / Bucks area in 2004.
